Sweet Words and Simple Gestures

When my son turned two, I have never expected that there will be a drastic change with regards to his attitude, the tantrums, becoming a picky eater and his sense of independence and ownership. I prepared myself only on one aspect which is the tantrums which right now is still on the process on how will I be able to control it.

There were alot of times that he has tested my patience and found myself way too exhausted already to the point that I am locking myself inside our room. My little girl who turned a year old a month ago became very demanding also and wants all my attention on her. And now lies my biggest dilemma on how will I split my body in half.

Good thing my little boy is now more mature probably because he has a baby sister now. I always found them playing together and he worries alot of her little sister and more often he always tell me that her sister is crying and needs my attention. He loves sharing his toys to his sister which is why my little girl plays with toy cars rather than stuffed toys. *sigh*

To my kids I play the bad cop role in disciplining them while J is the good cop.

As what I always say and most mothers a simple hug from them would ease my woes away. But I am glad that they are more than enough for it. Here are few reasons why I love staying at home with them:
  • Whenever I get myself a boo-boo for being so clumsy my son would rush to me and kiss me whenever I get an "ouch".
  • Randomly says "thank you" and  immediately says "welcome" afterwards.
  • Randomly says "hi mama" when he sees me and "bye" when going inside their room.
  • Says "wabu" (iloveyou) everytime.
  • Hugs me when he sees me sad and crying.
  • Helps me in keeping his toys and making it sure that everything is in place. He doesn't like clutter especially when he is going to sleep.
  • Little girl calls me "mama" and calls his dad "papa" whenever she needs one of us.
  • Love seeing them dance together especially when I am doing my Zumba workout.
  • My kids randomly hugs each other and kisses each other.
  • Little girl randomly kisses and hugs me.
And the list goes on. I love being with these little babies even if it means exhausting but definitely rewarding.
