More than two weeks that my blog doesn’t have a decent update seems that I owe you a lot already. Anyway, this week I hope to have more inspiration to do so despite the usual multi-tasking mode. I have been dying to get a decent rest for the past few weeks. Yes, I am way too exhausted already from my mundane activities that having at least a cup of coffee outside of my dining room would be enough for me to exhale my stress away. I need to manage my stress in a way that it won’t become contagious and cause collateral damage.
Two weeks ago, my little girl turned 18 months. Again, it amazes me how she showed signs on independence while molding her personality. During the 18 months, she has showed a lot of ohemgee moments already that we have both shared and I am lucky that I was able to witness them all. Last week was one hell of an almost passing out spell on me.
After our usual lunchtime and routine we follow, I had to do a quick meditation inside the restroom. I left them in the living room where I can see them and they were both inside the playpen playing together but the little girl was a bit cranky already because the little boy never fails to annoy her when she turns into a brat. During the next minute, I heard her usual sound of complain. Few seconds after, I heard the little boy shouted in a worrisome voice “A!” That’s when I saw the little girl on the first step of our stairs! Again, she got out of the playpen. How? I don’t know yet. As usual, she had the innocent look again. I almost had a sinus pause!
After our dinnertime, everybody went to our room to watch a movie, our usual weekday family bonding. In the middle of the movie, A got cranky again and this time inside her playpen she attempted to get out. My usual instinct was to stop her! But J on the other hand wanted to take a video and know how she gets out and she did. I almost had sinus pause again and tachycardia. My heart was literally pounding when J was taking the video. But it seems like it was normal for her. Oh. I was speechless and when she got out I hugged her.
