A Moments : Transitions
The past days I always wake up early because I have to adjust to the waking time of J. While I was waiting for the kids to wake up, I was busy playing Battle Beach (yes currently hooked). After few minutes I heard a faint knock on the door while murmuring something. It was my little girl. For the past few days she has been sleeping on a real bed beside his brother. This time no more crib because of what happened here. She finally wanted to be free from limitations to her movement as she slowly discovers her environment.
Together with her independence, she also started to utter indiscernible words. She can now communicate well with her actions and as well as some of her gibberish words.
Right now, I have to spare more energy for her because she runs around the living room pushing her limits and trying to hold and touch everything she can. As she molds her personality, she becomes a handful three times more than the little boy. Not that I am complaining, but I am gradually accepting the challenges as each day goes by.
The other day when I handed them their milk and prepped them for their aftie nap, I asked them to lie down and sleep.
Me : It’ sleeping time. A lie donw on your bed.
A : Noooooo!
Me : Lie down now.
A : Nooooo!
Ok. I didn’t argue with her anymore.
No matter how hard it is not to have a nanny, I enjoy every minute with them despite the bittersweet relationship we have. They won’t be young forever and be able to give me the same joy they’re giving me right now.
I am looking forward to more surprises with my kids.
