48 Photos : Week 8 Calm

I am not sure if you are familiar that there is an isolated kingdom in the south. This week’s entry is taken during my birthday getaway in Tagaytay last week. I have been contemplating on what I will post as a calm photo and came up with this.This is the Fantasy Land located In Lemery, Batangas few minutes travel from Tagaytay. 


Based from our (me and Boboy) research, this Fantasy Land is supposed to be a retirement home for elderly and a project of a Japanese national. Unfortunately many retirees invested in this place but because of mismanagement the place wasn’t materialized. Over the years, the castle that was supposed to be grandiose and I must say has a potential to be a tourist attraction is slowly deteriorating. The place has been poorly maintained as manifested by the withered plants as well as some of the structures surrounding the area.



To this date, (according to the guards) they are still open for day tours with a fee of php1,000 for every 10 guests and can enjoy indoor activities like bowling, badminton, and other sports and will have a chance to tour inside the castle.


I chose this photo basically because it is supposed to be a haven and also because of the mood the way it was captured and how the clouds compliment with it.

If kilay is life, liptint is life also for me. There was a phase in my life where I'd hoard every new lipstick in the market. But suddenly, I grew tired of it.
