Pretend Play Toy:Easy Bake Oven

There is one thing that Boboy and I love doing-bargain hunting! We find pride when we are able to score stuff at a cheap price and good quality. Well, who doesn’t love bargain hunting anyway?

When we paid a visit at one of the surplus stores in Cubao, I found an Easy Bake Oven. From the looks of the box, I was actually quite ambivalent whether to get it or not. But considering it was already cheap and still on sale, we decided to buy it.

I had no idea that you can actually eat whatever you bake in the oven. When we got home, I immediately consulted mr. google and found out that it was indeed a good deal. We got it only a fraction from its original price. Then I started looking for recipes based from scratch, the one, which is feasible for me to bake. Mind you, it is quite easy to bake in this pretend play toy! It’s not as delicate as the real baking is that one miss on a single ingredient makes the whole baking a miss.

So we gave it a try and baked my kids’ brownies and chocolate chip cookies and they loved it! I baked few batches of chocolate chips and poof! It’s gone in 10 minutes!

The only downside to it is it comes in 110 volts so you will need a converter to be able to use it.
