2015: The year that was

Just like that, we are on the second week already of the first month of the new year and my mind is somewhere wandering still. The past year went by so swiftly that I didn’t pretty much entertain the negative things happened but lingered only on the positive thoughts. Honestly, the past year was a challenge to our family since I got pregnant. It was hard for me on the first to second trimester because of the morning (all-day) sickness I experience. The family’s meal was at stake and had to resort to the not-so-healthy meal. But despite it, I am still thankful that we were able to get by and survived it all.

I wasn’t able to blog much also because I was asleep most of the time and nauseated. So the things that I want to share to you are all in my mind. But worry not as I will try to catch on it and be able to make updates every now and then, hopefully. I am also thankful to my mom who has been there all the time for her helping hand especially during those times when we needed her most. For five years, I have no help and not planning to have one in the near future either, but we were able to survive our everyday life.

The last quarter of the year also was the most challenging part. Aside from me giving birth away from the husband, I had to recover there without him. It was tough, since we were used to being with each other all the time and so with the kids. I had to explain to them always that it was only temporary and that we will comeback to the big city.

Even if the year that was has been a challenge to us, we learned alot of things and still thankful for every blessing along our way. We were able to celebrate the season with my family away from home, which was a first, and everyone had so much fun.

Now, we welcome this year with positive things and open mind that this year will be a great year to us.
How are you so far?
