Three consecutive years that I take the kids to a Halloween party has never been this exciting. During the first year, it was quite chaos since the event was open to public. The second year, had no sense of focus since the mall ran out of tickets to the exclusive event for the kids. I was quite ecstatic that this year, my favorite community came up with the idea of a Halloween party for its members. And what can I say but it was so FUN!
Members of the community who I met and have friends with online was there as well as their beautiful family. I must admit that despite the volume of the attendees and the memory fail, I can still remember some of their names and familiar faces (sorry if I don't recognize you all, it takes more time).
The numerous sponsors were also overwhelming! Big brands that I support and work with were there and they were generous to give out treats to everyone! So everyone went home with lots of goodies.
This is quite a breakthrough for me because I, together with some of mommy bloggers slash entrepreneurs am also proud to be one of the sponsors. Mind you, preparing for 150 guests is not that easy for a pair of hands only. But I am not complaining because I love seeing them happy.
My kids went for superhero costumes this year because the little boy fancies them so much. It was a good thing that one Saturday afternoon, I was able to get him a Captain America suit, which was suited for his size. The little girl on the other hand went as a Supergirl because she loves putting cape on! They were very happy with it, which I got from Toy Kingdom. But the luck didn't stop there because Dodo won as the best superhero award and was gifted a toy by Toy Kingdom!
I love this community that I look forward to our next get together and hopefully this coming holiday season. All of the increased efforts especially to our founder/admin and other members of the committee was a success!
