#TSMCooks; Tortang Puso ng Saging Recipe

With all my children, I am most challenged by my eldest who is so hard to feed when he turned two. Now that he is seven, I pray that each year, I will be more creative with the food I serve on the table so as for him to eat healthy, at least. I am always thankful that we are provided well and that I could at least make him eat healthy food (with coercion of course) because I still believe in the nutrients provided by the food.

So here in this recipe, I will share once again a failproof recipe which I tried with my kids and is approved by my picky eater eldest.

Tortang Puso ng Saging Recipe

Ingredients:

Puso ng Saging, chopped
Eggs
Onion, julienned
Garlic, minced
Flour
Tuna, flaked
Salt
Pepper
Vegetable oil for frying

Procedure:

1. Clean puso ng saging, drizzle with salt to prevent it from browning and let it sit for 5 minutes and wash it again. Drain properly.

2. Chop Puso ng Saging into small pieces. You can use vegetable chopper or food processor for faster chopping.

3. Add egg, tuna flakes (you may use tuna flakes in can just drain the oil/liquid), onion, and garlic. Mix all ingredients together.

4. Add flour just enough to make the mixture thick and mix well.

5. Fry in medium heat for better cooking.
