TSM Cooks: Homemade Salsa
This afternoon, my kids decided of munch on the colorful Tortillas we got from Landers. We have no ground meat as of the moment because I forgot to buy from the market so instead we used the leftover salsa we got from Gourmet Farms. But since we only got one jar and almost out, I decided to whip whatever I got from my kitchen and pantry. Afterall, it is the most healthy combination for the Tortilla and tastes good too!
Homemade Salsa
Ingredients:6 pcs Fresh Tomatoes
Lettuce (1 leaf), or Leeks
chili flakes
brown sugar
Olive Oil
Pepper
Salt
Garlic
Onion
Procedure:
1. Throw everything in a food processor or blender. Blend everything and make sure it is well blended. Do not peel off the skin of the tomatoes as it gives texture to the salsa.
2. Simmer it in a pan for 10 minutes.
3. Serve. Store the excess in a jar and refrigerate.
