Seven months into
studying, continous reading and more trial and errors of essential oils and I
can finally say that, I am an oily mama. When I first got my "takal"
or sample oils from Shopee, I was really excited to try them to my kids and see
if it will really work. It did and I am so happy about it that I wanted to
build my own stash and make our own blends.
Several months after, few
oils later, and more oil blends concocted, I could say that ten oils is enough.
You have that hunger to buy more oils for all your family's needs. But
purchasing oils takes months because I usually buy them through groupbuys from
friends abroad.
Then there's one brand
that caught my attention and the good thing is, it is locally available! It took a while to process but then, yes they are available locally and can be shipped right at your doorstep. The owner was kind enough to let me try their kit and the reason why it is only now
that I am writing the review is because I tried all the oils included in the
kit and made them useful here in our household.
The first time I got my
hands on the kit, my first impression was the value for money--imagine 15ml
amount of oil in one bottle and you will need only few drops. Indeed one bottle
has a long way to go. They are also tested for GC/MC so we know for sure that their
essential oils are safe for use.
Included in the kit are
the following essential oils:
Rosemary Essential Oil.
Stimulates the scalp for hair growth, prevents baldness, moisturizes the scalp
and helps treat dandruff. It also soothes achy muscles, improves memory and a
whole lot more benefits.
Lavender Essential Oil.
Known for calming effect and best used for treating skin problems. This oil is
very versatile that has alot of uses.
Peppermint Essential Oil.
This has a cooling effect on the body that can treat sore muscles and has
anti-microbial property and a whole lot more.
Sweet Orange Essential
Oil. Has so many benefits which includes anti-inflammatory,
antidepressant, antispasmodic, antiseptic, aphrodisiac, carminative, diuretic,
tonic, sedative, and a cholagogic substance.
Clove Bud Essential
Oil. Is known for its antimicrobial,
antifungal, antiseptic, antiviral, aphrodisiac and stimulant properties.
Tea Tree Essential Oil. When applied to the skin (used topically) for infections such as acne, fungal infections of the nail (onychomycosis), lice, scabies, athlete's foot (tinea pedis), and ringworm.

1. Anti-dandruff recipe. Add 10 drops of Rosemary Oil to a 100 ml shampoo, shake the bottle and let it sit for 48 hours before use.
2. My pimple spot treatment. Mix 5ml of any gel (Aloe, Bamboo, Snail) with one drop of Lavender, Tea Tree and Clary Sage oil and mix it together. Apply it on your pimple using a cotton tip applicator two to three times a day.
3. Insect Spray. Mix in a spray bottle 70% vinegar and 30% water and add 20 drops of each oils: Citronella, Clove Bud, Tea Tree, Peppermint, Lavender and Sweet Orange. This has been proven effective. There were dead cockroaches in our laundry area the next morning and more dead roaches few days and weeks later on. Make sure to spray them in their dwelling places.
4. Calming our mood. Add three drops of each in your diffuser. I use only three drops for my nebulizing diffuser since it doesn't need water. This blend instantly deodorizes your room after cooking.
