Cetaphil Baby; Baby's Skin Care
I understand your concern being a first time mom. We have no idea yet what we are doing let alone if we are doing right for our kids. As a mom, all we want is the best for our children, nothing else. I would like to share with you some of my take aways from the recent Cetaphil event I attended for mommies.
Please bear in mind that our baby's skin is very sensitive and prone to all the irritants there is in the environment. In here are some tips and my take away from Dr. Leelin's talk at the event.
- Do not use harsh materials.
- Avoid using products with alcohol, dyes, and fragrance
- Use soap sparingly or at least with pH of 5.5-6.5
- Give short cool baths
- Ensure use of safe products
Gentle and Moisturizing Wash. It contains Aloe Vera, Almond Oil, Glycerin and Panthenol which helps retain mositure and keep the skin moisturized. It also has mild scent which are not irritating to the skin.
Lotion. It has shea butter which helps keep skin smooth, moisturized and reduce inflammation. In fairness to this one, it is not that sticky which I veer away from lotions, and gentle to my son's skin.
What about you, how do you take care of your baby's skin? Let me know in the comment section below.
