My kids are loves to eat a lot. If we ran out of food in the pantry or fridge, then I will be doomed. They would bug me for hours or they will go back to the pantry and open the cabinets and would search for food for hours. But then not all my kids have the same taste and appetite. Unfortunately, my eldest is such a hardwork. He would be picky when it comes to food that it ha become so annoying on my part. While two of my kids would eat our meals with gusto, he is quite different. You would easily see form his face the dislike.
I have challenged myself for the past years to at least feed him healthy food but oftenly I would end up frustrated. Amongst the dishes I would make, he only eats meat and fishes, no vegetables and fruits. As for the fish, he will choose what he only likes. The rest, he wouldn't even dare try.
According to Women’s and Children’s Health Network, “It is recommended that young children under six years old eat two to three servings of fish each week. A serving for a young child is about 75g, which is about the amount of three fish fingers. Small fare good for children. Canned tuna is a good choice as the mercury levels are very low, and only small tuna are used for canning.”
I wrote here in this blogspot how to end mealtime battles. But then again, my eldest is a constant work, and I know I will slowly get there. But still, I hope you can get a thing or two from there.
In this blogpost, I will share with you some fish recipes that is so easy to do at home. I always stock tuna canned goods in the pantry because it is healthier choice for the family and very versatile.
