If there is one thing that I look up to my way of parenting is none other than my mom. I felt like she was successful the way she brought us up because I am where I am now all because of her. There is no other way to cherish mothers and make them special at least on their special day that is--Mother's Day.  On Mother's Day, let us make our moms special by treating her like a queen. And let us celebrate mother's day, none other than SM Supermalls. "SM knows how hard it is to be a mom, which is why we've come up with fun and memorable activities that celebrate our beloved supermoms who have been there for us since the very beginning," said Jonjon San Agustin, SM Supermalls SVP for marketing.  SM Supermalls SVP for Marketing, Jonjon San Agustin During the Digital Media Conference, celebrities shared how they cherish their moms on how they were raised and at the same time reminisce their motherhood journey with their children.  ...

New Vacation Ideasallows

No matter how much you might love your job, there's no question that a well planned vacation is always a good idea. Our minds and emotions need a break from the hectic pace of work and the non-stop demands that can come with it. Yet just getting away isn't always the best way to take a vacation. While we do need a break from the intense demands we experience at work, that well-earned time off can be used in a variety of ways that can enrich us. This is why many people today are choosing to take active vacations that have a fun yet educational aspect to them. Learning a Delicious New Skill Many people tour Europe with the intention of learning a lot about the cultures and art of cities like Rome and Paris, and there's a fine tradition of people taking in art tours while in those cities. Some vacationers like to take things even further, though, by learning the finer aspects of French or Italian cuisine while visiting those countries. This is why a Culinary vacat...

Cooking With The The Chefs at San Miguel Purefoods Kids Kitchen Camp

Three years ago, I remembered my son telling me he wanted to be a Chef when I asked him what he wanted to be when he grows up. I did not influence him of anything and out of the blue, he just told me, he wants to be a master of the kitchen. He is a picky eater, he doesn't like vegetables and fruits and limits himself to more protein food that I serve him during mealtime. I may probably be a pushover mom for wanting him to eat vegetables and fruits, but I am doing this because I know it is for his own good.  One way of encouraging children to eat and try something new to their palates is to let them prepare their own meals. The reason why I want to involve my eldest in the kitchen. He knows how I exert effort in preparing their meals that is why, he tries his best to eat whatever I serve him, only that he would limit what he eats to all protein. It is quite frustrating, but, I know soon I will be able to let him.  Last Saturday, my son had the chance to...

Somerset Olympia's First Puppy Hour

Image
Ever since I became a fur parent, I now understand of how our pets can give invaluable joy in our lives. They become part of our family and have a place in our hearts. We treat them like our children, much like how we take care and give love to our children.  Now that I have pets, I have now to consider them wherever we go. There were limitations as to where we go including our out of town getaways. I always have to consider the hotels/ accomodations we book if they are pet friendly or else, I would veer away from them. Now that more families have pets, I guess it is a high time for establishments to be pet friendly.  The Ascott Limited’s Somerset Olympia Makati celebrated its first Puppy Hour last April 30, 2019.  In line with the international celebration of pet month, Somerset Olympia Makati celebrated the value of pet ownership that brought together dog owners, bloggers, and a non-profit organization in raising awarenes...
