Hiring the right service provider is a big decision. After all, you are opening up your home to strangers, potentially when you are not even there. Selecting the right service provider can give you peace of mind, additional time to focus on other important things, and satisfaction for a clean home and a job well done. Here are three must do's as you select your cleaning company Olney MD. 

Initial Fees

Many service providers substantially increase the cost of the first cleaning. Not everyone hires a company to provide ongoing services. Additionally, the first cleaning can sometimes require more, and companies want to be compensated for their time. If you know you plan to hire a company on an ongoing basis, consider asking them to lower the initial cleaning fee to something more in line with a regular cleaning. If they want your business, they are likely to work with you.

Expectations and Documentation


Be very clear about the services you want done and what the cost for those services are. Some companies charge per hour, others per task, and others have a hybrid of the two. Clearly communicate your expectations of the work to be done and the cost for services, and then make sure everything is documented. This way, there is something to refer to later should questions arise.

If they are unwilling to answer these questions, look elsewhere.
