For the past four years, I made a decision to switch into a more eco-friendly solution to my monthly period. I must admit that it was indeed a bold switch because a lot of women are quite iffy and scared at the same time to ty this. My decision was influenced by the body changes that has taken place eversince I gave birth to my youngest. I experienced the worst sanitary napkin allergies ever and all I can recall was everything was so painful. Fast forward today, I have tried four menstrual cup brands and what I will share with you is something new yet really promising brand and this is the Sileu cup.
Sileu menstrual cup came all the way from Spain. They have different sizes which acters to the different needs of of us women. This is also the very first menstrual cup brand that I have which is very professional because if the inclusions in the kit. Here are the pros why I love this brand:
Pros:
1. Has a carry hard case. It comes in a beautiful floral hard case which you can carry everywhere you go. This is also perfect to go when you are always on the go and very discreet because of the case. It will only be us women who will know what’s inside it.
2. It has a silicon foldable sterilizer cup which you can also store inside the hard case that comes with it. You will not have any worries of taking it out when you are on the go since you can just pop that silicon cup and store/sterilize your cup inside it. Oh, it is microwavable too!
3. It comes in different sizes and fancy colors. It addresÃ¥ses different women’s structure including those also that have low uterus. You can check it out from their website.
4. The size is just perfect for me. Since I alreadybhad three children, I got myself a size 2. I was quite iffy at first because I came from a MeLuna medium size and comparing the two, MeLuna is quite smaller from this. This holds liquid pretty well and have no leaks for almost 10 hours on first day. I drain my cup only three times in one day.
5. It has a longer stem which helps me pull the entire cup a bit out when draining.
6. The structure is perfect. The rim of the cup is quite thick and hard but the body down tothe bottom is soft. The rim which is quite thicker will be easier to pop open when inserted in thecanal as opposed to those with very soft rim.
Cons:
The only downside to it is—this is not yet locally available here in the Philippines. You can get hold of it through Amazon.
If you are outside the Philippines and has access through Amazon, you may look them up on their website here--Sileu.
The content you've posted here is fantastic because it provides some excellent information about Menstrual Cup that will be quite beneficial to me. Thank you for sharing that. Keep up the good work.
